Groovy Grape Getaways was developed out of a desire to raise standards in the Backpacking Industry. Starting operation in 1997, with the Barossa Valley day tours, we have grown to cover the best of Southern and Central Australia. We are passionate about where we go and what we do. We are young, active, energetic tour company: our tours and passengers reflect this. Quality is paramount… with our coasters having a maximum of 21 comfortable seats, air conditioning, stereo and curtains. Our facilities are of a high standard with top quality swags at the end of a day in the outback, comfortable hostel accommodation, delicious meals that cater to dietary requirements and knowledgable, interactive guides. Our trips are always enjoyable and informative. Our guides know each of the places you’ll visit and understand its history, culture, and people. We have a radio communications on board, carry an approved first – aid kit and the guides have current first – aid certificates.
