Cairns Birdwing

The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary in Kuranda features live colourful tropical butterflies flying in a specially designed rain forest setting. All butterflies are hand reared on the premises and are very quick to land. Includes the brilliant blue Ulysses butterfly and Australia's largest butterfly, the multi coloured Cairns Birdwing. Guided tours are provided as an optional extra at no extra charge. Tours take approximately half an hour and run on request.
