Tour Description
The Whales of Kaikoura Tour is a day tour to beautiful scenic South Island to see the famous whales of Kaikoura. Guests will be collected from their city accommodation and taken to Wellington Airport, enjoy a scenic flight across the Cook Strait to Kaikoura, experience warm Southern hospitality at one of the many food havens and the beauty of a scenic flight to see the majestic Whales and the playful Dolphins in the Pacific Ocean. Visit local galleries with beautifully crafted artwork, opportunities to purchase from the many cottage industry village shops.
Either enjoy a boat cruise along the Kaikoura Peninsula and observe the antics of the many seabirds such as the great albatross, petrels, shearwaters, terns, shags and gulls, or take a scenic boat cruise along the spectacular Kaikoura coastline to encounter the acrobatic dusky dolphins up close. Scenic return flight over the Marlborough Sounds and guests will be returned to their accommodation from Wellington Airport.
