Nothing quite matches the feeling of standing on the deck of a square rigger with the wind in your face and the smell of salt in the air, as you watch the huge red sails billowing aloft.

All distinctions of age, sex and nationality disappear in a communion of yells and laughter as you haul ropes and set sail for the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday Islands aboard the lovingly restored tall ship Coral Trekker.

Join the crew in the rigging (they'll show you the ropes) or just sit back and relax on the wide timber decks. The itinerary is unhurried, setting aside lots of time for strolling secluded beaches, snorkelling, scuba diving, hiking national park trails and beach barbecues.

Built in Norway in 1939, this traditional sailing ship has a unique and charming character. With topsail's, t'gallants and yardarms she has all the old world charm and romance of yesteryear.

Accommodation is in double staterooms, twin cabins and one 4 berth cabin and caters for a maximum of 14 guests. The crew of 4 includes captain, cook and two deckhands. Whether travelling alone, with a group or family, Coral Trekker will give you lifetime memories.
