Tour Description
Voyage to the heart of the Great Barrier Reef daily aboard Fantasea's comfortable air-conditioned high speed catamaran.
The entire family can enjoy an adventure-packed day at Reefworld - come face to face with schools of tropical reef fish; be amazed at the spectacular coral formations; explore easy to follow snorkelling trails or simply relax on the sundeck and enjoy the amazing 360° view of the Great Barrier Reef.
Your day begins cruising through the sheltered waters of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, through the Coral Sea and on to Hardy Reef, 39 nautical miles from the Whitsunday Coast. On entering the wide channel between the massive adjoining coral reefs you arrive at Reefworld, consisting of two amazing floating facilities on the Great Barrier Reef.
Reefworld
One of the largest floating reef pontoons in Australia with all of the features you need for a memorable day, with conveniences such as change rooms, outdoor fresh water showers, children’s swimming enclosures, large uncrowded open sundecks and extensive shaded areas where you can enjoy the lavish buffet lunch.
Both snorkellers and divers are well catered for at Reefworld and there really is no better way to experience the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Reefworld's snorkel platforms provide easy access to the water, ideal for the first time snorkeller, and the children's swimming enclosure is perfect for families. Also make use of the free child minding - Club Seahorse!
Our experienced E-sea Dive Team will provide the most unbelievable underwater experience and for more information on diving click here.
For a more intimate reef experience, why not try a Guided Snorkel tour with our experienced Reef Interpreters.
We also cater for non-swimmers with our semi submersible coral viewers and large underwater observatory.
Our glass hulled semi-submersible coral viewer will take you for a tour along the reef wall and the large underwater observatory is the ideal place to sit back, relax and watch the colourful schools of fish as they glide on by.
