This horse ride takes you through the stunning Australian bush savannah and spectacular rainforest where you can enjoy views from high mountain tops down to the Great Barrier Reef and the 500m magnificent Mowbray Falls. This wild, unpeopled, little touched region is yours to discover and experience.

Explore the tropical rainforest on horseback into the changing western landscape of open woodland forests. Cross the Mowbray River and over mountain tops down to the lowlands to discover pristine spring fed waterholes and lagoons. The tour includes an exotic, tropical lunch and a chance to relax at our private water-lilly lagoon.

We can cater for special occasions including the traditional Aussie BBQ lunch, honeymoon specials and silver service meals.

Our horses are specifically trained to suit all levels of riders - from absolute beginners to advanced. You do not need to be an experienced rider to enjoy our full day riding trail. Your hosts have a lifetime of horse experience, with the added bonus of being conservationists with in-depth knowledge of the area you will be riding in. We give you a free horse riding lesson prior to, and during your ride to enhance your comfort and experience.

We are on the border of the wet and dry tropics therefore there is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, prolific birdlife, brumbies, wild cattle and feral pigs. Our local area boasts the second highest population of bird species in the world.

Non-riders can enjoy a 4 wheel drive adventure and join you for lunch at the lagoon.

We take digital photographs of you during your ride and can email them to you on request.

We are members of the Association for Horsemanship Safety and Education in Australia and we provide certified Australian standard safety helmets for your protection.
