Tour Description
DAY 1 :
On the first morning you will enjoy a lovely sail across the Whitsunday Passage to the northern end of Hook or Hayman Island - Stonehaven, Luncheon or Blue Pearl Bay for snorkelling, swimming and fish feeding. Your host has prepared a sumptuous tropical lunch. In the afternoon you'll set sail for either Macona or Nara Inlet for the evening.
For dinner your host has prepared marinated BBQ steaks, scalloped
potatoes, a selection of vegetables, garlic and herb bread. After dinner, it’s
time to relax, listen to some music, watch for shooting stars and chat with new
friends.
DAY 2:
You wake up slowly to the smell of fresh croissants baking in the oven. A tropical fruit platter and cereal also greets you for breakfast. After breakfast it’s time for a bush walk at Nara Inlet to have a look at the Aboriginal Cave paintings and then off to Border Island for a snorkel.
Everyone has built up a healthy appetite and it’s time for lunch. Cold chicken, salads and specialty breads are ready and waiting for you. As you munch away, we sail out past Border Island and slowly make our way to beautiful Whitehaven Beach. Once at the beach it’s time for fun in the sun - cricket, frisbee, beach soccer and swimming.
Following afternoon
tea on the beach, it’s just a short sunset sail to Chalkies Beach for the
evening. Tonight it's an oriental stir-fry on the menu.
DAY 3:
Watching the sunrise over Whitehaven Beach is a truly magnificent sight. Your host has another gourmet feast waiting for you and then it’s time to set those sails. We sail around the back of Whitsunday Island to Cid Harbour. Everyone enjoys a bush walk to the peak and then it’s a quick descent for a swim and play in the water.
It’s now time to weigh anchor and head back to either Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour.
