Tour Description
Travel to the Uluru (Ayers Rock) sunrise viewing area at the eastern end of Uluru
Watch the first sunlight of day creep across the desert plain
Enjoy a warming cup of green tea, coffee or tea as the morning sun slowly changes the colour of Uluru
Listen to the detailed briefing and warnings about the climb by the Japanese Speaking Guide
There is time to climb to the summit to be rewarded with spectacular views (approx. 2 - 3 hr return)
Alternatively the client has the option to visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where they can enjoy the informative displays and purchase Aboriginal made arts and crafts (non-guided, approx. 45 mins return)
Participate in a guided ‘Mala Walk’ to the Kantju Water Hole (approx. 60 mins). Clients who choose to climb for 3hrs will not be able to do this portion of the base tour.
On return from the climb/ base tour enjoy a refreshing drink of barley tea and a cool lemon scented refresher towel.
Receive an AAT Kings Uluru & Kata Tjuta Souvenir Certificate
Commence the drive around the base of Uluru learning more about the huge monolith as the Japanese Speaking Guide points out the various sacred sites and surrounding areas.
