Tour Description

Boshack Wild Eco Outback Farm: Wildlife/Pioneer/Eco Park welcomes you with damper scones jam and cream before pulling freshwater crayfish(yabbies) nets.

A small 100 metre bushwalk through the eerie paperbarks past a very old historical well and then into a Dreaming time area. This was a very special meeting place to escape the heat and for you to listen to pioneers and aborigine stories, try bush chocolate and a go at the didgeridoo.

50 metres further on is a typical Australian farm sheep enterprise & discussion and how the flock is managed and observing a shearing shed facility.

A small journey deeper into the outback to be finally transported by a tractor drawn hay ride through pristine bushland for a bushwalk(approx 200 metres) with a difference through abundance of wildflowers in season and then to experience bushtucker tasting (kangaroo, crocodile, emu) and the bush sauces.

The walk continues further through the banksia's until all of a sudden you have what some say is mystique others say unique and others say amazing and we find its just not the view but the feeling it leaves in ones inner self.

A canoe ride to see if you can spot a turtle in the shallow waters before a hearty Aussie meal.

Enjoy a traditional Aussie BBQ with a bushmans egg before or after canoeing in a shallow lake where turtles can be sometimes seen sitting on the lake bed and then to feed our friendly kangaroos or maybe the black swan if available.

Then you will arrive at the Host Farmers farmstay to enjoy some time with real Aussie. Enjoy the animals and space before dinner. Dinner will be served and a helping hand is always appreciated in this environment. Watch the sunset across the vastness of the land and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst watching for satellites and the Milky Way in the skies full of Millions of Stars.
Wake up to the sweet aromas of a country home cooked breakfast. Then off to our Farm Animal Feed on a working farm where with the farmer we will feed the herds of 400 cattle, 300 sheep, 10 pigs, 10 chooks, Shetland ponies & goats, with a refreshing drink on the farmers verandah.
