Tour Description

Transfer to Cairns or Freshwater railway station to board Kuranda Senic Train, Travelling up the Kuranda range stopping at the Barron Falls and continue onto Kuranda Station.
!! DUE TO DIFFICULTIES ON RAIL TRACK KURANDA SCENIC RAIL WILL NOT BE OPERATING UNTIL EARLY MAY 2007!!
UNTIL TRACK IS REOPENED THIS TOUR WILL BE SKYRAIL UP AND BACK

A shortwalk from the station to the village where you can enjoy some shopping at the markets.
At 1145 we will meet you and transfer you to the Ranforest Station.
Lunch at the Rainforest Station before enjoying a tour of the park on the famous Army duck, which switches from the jungle tracks of the rainforest to a cruise on the lake, returning through a rare tropical fruit orchard.
Dreamtime walk with boomerang throwing, playing didgeridoo and spear thowing demonstrations. See the native Australian animals by then visiting Koala and Wildlife Park. Koala photos are optional but not included with tour.
Our driver will then transfer you to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and board the 1500 skyrail back to Caravonica.
All transfers to and from hotels and parks are included.
