Tour Description

Explore the rainforest with Skyrail in the cool of the morning and unwind aboard the Kuranda Scenic Rail travelling down the mountain in the afternoon.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Take the time to appreciate this unique rainforest experience. Panoramic views of the Coral Sea open before you as you glide over the rainforest. Allow approximately 1.5 hours.

Kuranda Village: 4.5 hours of free time is allowed in Kuranda for your to explore this quaint and fascinating village. A free village map is provided on the day of travel.

Kuranda Scenic Railway: At the scheduled time, board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail at the historic Kuranda Railway Station. Stop at the Barron Falls Station and then slowly wind your way down the mountain passing through 15 hand hewn tunnels and the much photographed bridge at Stoney Creek Falls. Disembark at Freshwater Station for travel back to Port Douglas.
