Clients should advise health restrictions that trek leaders should know about prior to departure.
No upper age limit but must be able to walk at least 1/2 hour comfortably.
Weather forced delays while on safari are rare but in their unlikely event they will incur a daily surcharge of $45.00/head to cover for additional costs that occur as a result of the delay.

- Advanced eco-tourism accreditation. Yellow Tick accreditation. Natural and cultural interpretation of desert landscapes. Understanding of camels and their use in a desert trekkking capacity. Vegetarian options and special needs catering.

- Sleeping bag hire - $26/bag/trek
- What to bring:
- Bedding (a warm sleeping bag will be fine), Personal bag, Camera or day bag, Small water bottle (with shoulder strap), Fly veil, Insect repellent, Mosquito net (rarely necessary), Stout walking shoes, Thongs or sandals for evenings, Torch and batteries, Some reading material (?), Light rain coat, Small light 8' x 8' plastic tarp, Pocket knife, Sunscreen, Broad brimmed hat, Unscented baby wipes are excellent, Baby powder, Carrot treats for the camels, Some string (for whatever), Please note: Cold nights, cool days. Water will be restricted.

- Camel safaris depart most Fridays (April to October). Camel safaris depart from pre-advised locations. Please contact us using the details provided on your booking confirmation. Self-drive clients to meet at 4.00pm Thursday on day prior to camel safari departure at location specified during booking process (but typically William Creek on the Oodnadatta Track). Alternatively - transit service offered ex-Coober Pedy to camel trekking base camp, and return. This service departs Coober Pedy at 8.45am on day prior to camel safari departure. " Explore the Outback" offers a spectacular outback camel trekking experience into the remote and pristine desert regions adjoining the famous Oodnadatta Track in the far north of South Australia.
With a focus on ecological and cultural research and survey, all treks are uniquely different and intriguingly educational.
Swags (canvas bedrolls) and all meals provided but please BYO sleeping bags. Tasty vegetarian meal options included.
