This tour operates one-way and can be joined on to RT3 'Katherine & Kakadu Explorer'
Participants can expect to cycle three to five hours per day which is made up of two rides - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Any time you have had enough cycling, you can join the crew in air-conditioned comfort aboard the support vehicle.
Most meals are included (please refer to itinerary). Where a meal is not included, the support vehicle will stop at a suitable place to purchase a meal.

- Experienced guide, 4WD support vehicle, quality Avanti mountain bikes with front fork suspension, helmet and water bottles, all camping equipment (except sleeping bag)

Tour Description
DARWIN TO BROOME - 11 days / 10 nights
HIGHLIGHTS: Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle National Park, The Kimberley Gorges & The Gibb River Road (track),
Cable Beach, Broome
2008 Departure Dates: 15-25 June (Broome to Darwin), 5-15 October
Day 1
We leave Darwin early to spend the day making our way across the Northern Territory /Western Australian border to Lake Argyle. En route we pass through the town of Katherine and the scenic Victoria River region. (L)
Day 2
Today we ride from camp through beautiful hills toward the township of Kununurra with its vast irrigation scheme, then unload the bikes for a ride around the local area, before heading off to our bush camp amongst the spectacular Kimberley ranges. (B, L, D)
Days 3 & 4
Riding from near the entrance of the Bungle Bungle National Park, we spend these two days cycling, bush walking and four wheel driving in and around the amazing Bungle Bungle National Park. The riding becomes more adventurous and the scenery is just stunning. The rounded tiger stripped domes stretching into the wilderness are magical... especially viewed from a helicopter! Days 5 & 6
After a night in the old port town of Wyndham, we drive to the beginning of one of Australia's famous outback tracks, The Gibb River Road. We unload the bikes here and set off for the famous Kimberley gorges, well known for their crystal clear swimming holes and magnificent flora and fauna. In the afternoon we travel on to Durack River to camp. DAY 5 – (B, L) DAY 6 – (B, L, D)
Days 7, 8, 9 & 10
On each of these mornings you have the opportunity to cycle and to really experience for yourself the beauty and magic of the GIBB RIVER ROAD... These rides travel along the most well maintained, and most scenic parts of this old, sandstone cattle track. Highlights of these four days include, Barnett, Galvins and Bell Gorges, the King Leopold Ranges, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek... Cycling and driving from one magnificent gorge to another for swimming, bush walking and relaxing! (B, L, D)
Day 11
Sadly we leave the Gibb River Road, and travel towards the beautiful beaches of Broome. We visit DERBY on the way, and it's historical wharf precinct. We arrive in Broome in the late afternoon to be part of a scene that never changes... the spectacular CABLE BEACH. (B) Need to get back to Perth?
