Medium tackle targets Black Marlin on standup only. Other species targeted are Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, King Mackerel.
Medium tackle is a test of strength, stamina and style. If you are a good listener then you can do it. So whether you are an experienced angler or a novice, our friendly and experienced crew will welcome you on board and help you to get 'THE CATCH OF THE DAY'

Included in price:
All bait, tackle, lunch, soft drinks, waters and snacks supplied on day charters - BYO alcohol Extended charters - Meals, softdrinks, waters, snacks, linen, towels, bait and tackle supplied - BYO alcohol (some beers supplied) The vessel is fitted with ample refrigeration and has toilet facilities.

We will take children on board, however they must be under parental or guardian supervision at all times and must comply with the skippers and crew's instructions at all times. We have had children from 12years of age fish with us, fishing ability and strength does come into it and we suggest a discussion on the level of experience and ability before booking.

Tour Description

Medium tackle fishing is stlyised for those anglers who would like to try for a big Black Marlin as well as other pelagic species such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel and Tuna. We head out to the Continental shelf to the drop off, this is where all these species come in to feed following the warm currents. When operating Medium tackle we troll towing lures and baits on TLD50's on bent butt 50's. All fishing is standup, not in the chair.
We can operate extended live aboard charters and day sole charters.
All bait, tackle, meals, snacks, waters and softdrinks are supplied.
Day charters we will take from 1 to 6 anglers on a sole charter with 2 crew
Live aboard our max is 4 with 3 crew.
