What to bring:
Dress in the Northern Territory is casual and comfortable. Winter nights (May to August) can be cold, so bring warm clothing. Days are sunny and warm. Remember to bring strong, non-slip walking shoes, hats, sunglasses, camera, water bottle & sunscreen.

Tour Description

Emu Run collect you from your Alice Springs accommodation at 7.45am.

Spectacular Outback Scenery and photo opportunities await you as we travel along the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at John Flynn's Grave, and beautiful walks at: Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm (morning tea), the Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge for lunch and walk or swim. Next stop is Glen Helen, and on our way back we call into Ellery Creek Bighole (where we usually have afternoon tea). Ellery Creek Bighole is one of Central Australia's most pristine waterholes, so don't forget your swimmers in the warmer months!

As we drive back to Alice, you will see the Ranges "light up" in brilliant oranges and reds as we return into Alice at Sunset.
