Dress in the Northern Territory is casual and comfortable. Winter nights (May to August) can be cold, so bring warm clothing. Days are sunny and warm. Remember to bring strong, non-slip walking shoes, hats, sunglasses, camera, water bottle & sunscreen.

Tour Description

Day 1: Palm Valley; Day 2: Kings Canyon; Day 3: Ayers Rock & Olgas.

Itinerary:

Day 1
Pick up from your Alice Springs accommodation at 7.30am and travel to historic Hermannsburg Mission (home of famous Aboriginal artist Albert Namitjira) where we have morning tea. We then 4WD along the Oldest River Bed in Australia - the legendary Finke River - into Palm Valley and enjoy guided walks including the amphitheatre and Kalarragna Rock Lookout. Return to Alice Springs for your overnight accommodation at Alice Motor Inn.
Day 2
Pick up from Alice Motor Inn at 6am. Travel to Mt Ebenezer for a light breakfast then on to Kings Canyon and explore the Canyon on your guided walks. Travel back to Mt Ebenezer for dinner and your overnight budget motel accommodation.
Day 3
Depart Mt Ebenezer at 9am. Travel to Ayers Rock and enjoy guided walks or a chance to climb the Rock. Then travel to the Olgas, another beautiful walk, then return to the Rock for a fabulous BBQ Champagne Dinner at Sunset. Depart Ayers Rock after sunset, returning to Alice Springs around midnight (cooler months) or 1.00am (warmer months) for overnight motel accommodation at Alice Motor Inn.
