Tour Description

You will be living the life of a surfer for 3 full days of surfing adventure. With transport available from Melbourne down to the Great Ocean Road, this hassle free experience will have you hooked on a life of chasing the ultimate ride! Specialising in small groups, you will be living and breathing surfing in Victoria’s surfing capital of Torquay. You will be learning all about surfing waves in a friendly crowd free environment and will soon be reaching your full potential with instruction from your fully qualified, experienced surf coach.

You will be picked up from one of the meeting points in Melbourne’s CBD or St Kilda area nice and early to start your surfing adventure. After a short ride down in one of the surf vans you will head straight to the beach after a short stop at Surf City to pick up your surfboard and wetsuit. Once at the beach the fully qualified surf coach will run through a few basics in safety before starting the lesson that will take you through all the stages needed to help you catch waves and ultimately stand!
You will break for lunch around midday where a Subway sub and goodies will be supplied to help those all important energy levels. After lunch you will receive more tuition and also some free time to practise your new surfing skills.
After you leave the beach you will check into your accommodation where you will have the choice of a number of activities the town of Torquay has to offer.
Breakfast is supplied in the morning and afterwards you will be heading to another quiet beach for your next day of surfing. Your lessons will follow on from the previous day and you will go through new techniques and ways to improve.
This will also be the itinerary for day 3.
After another full day at the beach catching waves you will head back to the Surf City Plaza for a chance for some well deserved shopping before heading back to Melbourne.
