Tour Description

Yes, you can visit the Great Barrier Reef in a day from the Sunshine Coast

Direct bus transfers from your hotel on the Sunshine Coast to Hervey Bay airport to join your 30 minute flight to Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef, the most southerly coral quay(key) on the reef, located in a highly protected Green zone the fringing reef abounds with amazing coral and fishlife that will amaze you. The island is also the breeding grounds for many types of seabirds and turtles.

You will spend over 5 hours on a lady Elliot Island with snorkeling and reef walk equipment supplied, as well as a combined glass bottom boat and snorkel tour. Enjoy a sumptious Hot & Cold buffet lunch overlooking the lagoon before your return flight to Hervey Bay and transfer to the Sunshine Coast.
