Day 1: Cradle Mountain Day Tour
Pick up from Arthouse Backpacker Hostel at 7.55am. Don’t forget your camera today! First we head to Sheffield Town of Murals en-route to Cradle Mountain. Sheffield offers over 50 larger than life sized murals scattered on walls throughout the town, and is handy stop for lunch and a take-away coffee. Then it’s onward to Cradle. Cradle is an awe inspiring mountain towering over one of the great wilderness areas of the world. Walk, explore or simply soak up the wonder of this ancient land. This is a not to be missed highlight of Tasmania and we make this day yours with our flexibility and optional activities. Returns Launceston by 7pm. Overnight: Arthouse Hostel, Launceston.

Day 2: Transfer from Launceston to Hobart. Pick up from Arthouse Hostel at 8.00am. Pack your bags this morning and get ready to visit the southern end of the island. We depart Launceston and travel south on the Heritage Highway. We take the time to stop at the picturesque Ross Historic Village and discover the mysteries of the iconic Ross Bridge and much more. Arrive Hobart around 11.30am. Overnight Central City Backpackers, Hobart.

Day 3 - Port Arthur Mega Day Tour
Pick up from Central City Backpackers at 7.55am. This tour is jam-packed with Tasmanian history and natural attractions. Spend quality time at the famous Port Arthur Historic Site, stroll the streets of Australia’s prettiest colonial village at Richmond, marvel at the fantastic ocean views and natural attractions of the Tasman Peninsula with its huge sea cliffs, stunning lookouts and famous natural attractions including Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen and Remarkable Cave. Returns to Hobart by 7pm. Overnight Central City Backpackers, Hobart.

Day 4 - Mt. Field, Mt. Wellington and Wildlife
Pick up from Central City Backpackers at 7.55am. Be humbled by nature as we wander beneath the worlds tallest hardwood trees and enjoy the tranquillity of Russell Falls. We include a trip to the summit of Mt. Wellington and a visit with some Tassie Devils. This day combines mountains, ancient forests and unique wildlife for a very Tasmanian experience. Returns to Hobart by 5pm. Overnight Central City Backpackers, Hobart.

Day 5 - Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park
Pick up from Central City Backpackers at 7.25am. See the magnificent Wineglass Bay, spot a wallaby along the way, swim in this picture perfect setting or just laze on a beach. Freycinet National Park is a place of amazing beauty, with dazzling ocean colours, white sand beaches and pink granite mountains that rise from the sea. Return to Hobart by 7pm.
