Beginners Scuba Courses

Beginners scuba courses commence on Mondays only and each day runs from 8am to 6pm..
Please contact Dolphin Dive prior to departure using the details provided on your booking confirmation to organise course material.

Prerequisites:-
* Be able to swim 200m (any stroke, in any reasonable time), and tread water for 10 minutes
* Have a valid Australian Standard AS4005.1 Diving Medical (contact the store or click on Diving Physicians) within the previous 12 months.
* Bring three passport photos (Contact the store for details of special photography service)
* Be ready to have the time of your life!!!!

Included in price:
All equipment and instruction, Two Dives at Rottnest Island, One Rottnest Boat Trip, All pool fees, Transport from our Stores, Club Membership
What to bring:
Hat, sunglasses, swimwear.
Fitness level required:
Medium
Child policies:
Minimum 15 years of age (12 for Junior Open Water, limited to 12m maximum depth). All course participants pay the adult rate.

Tour Description

Begginers PADI Openwater Scuba Course is a 5 Day course with everything included (except dive medical & passport photo's), no hidden extras, includes a free trip to Rottnest Island on last day of the course for 2 dives.

The introductory certification course. The PADI Open Water certification will allow you to dive to 18m with a qualified buddy, without ongoing professional supervision (12m for Junior Open Water), in conditions better than, or similar to those in which you are trained.

The course consists of 5 days teaching :-
* 1 day (or 2 nights) Academic
* 2 days Confined Water Training (Five modules).
* 2 days of Open Water Diving (Four Open Water Dives).

The course includes:-
* PADI Five Star Gold Card Certification.
* The Go-Dive Manual and Dive tables, yours to keep.
* A dive log book and training record, yours to keep.
* Free course boat trip to Rottnest for experience of both shore and boat diving conditions - lunch included!!
* All pool fees, air fills, gear rental, and certification costs covered by us - no hidden extras!!!
* Personal instruction in small groups.
* All high quality, fully serviced dive equipment (with personal diving computers).
* All transport to and from the training centre, shop, pool and dive sites provided.
* Club membership for the year (usually A$60), 10% off retail purchases during the course.
