Melbourne is Australia’s sporting capital, a place where the biggest games and the biggest names create legends.

The Melbourne Cup, The AFL Grand Final, The Boxing Day Test, The Australian Open: the list of this great city’s sporting attractions is as long as the Melbourne Grand Prix circuit.

You can watch them on TV, listen on the radio or read about them in the newspaper, but you’ll never know what they're truly like until you’ve really been.

The Sports & Beer Lovers Tour combines two great Australian pastimes – sport and brewing beer - and puts you in the very centre of the action.

Melbourne’s sporting precinct is a world-class collection of stadiums and parks that host some of the biggest international sporting events in the world. This tour will take you deep inside the sporting world, visiting coaches' boxes, media centres, changing rooms and even on to the hallowed ground the games, races and competitions are played on.

The day starts with a tour of Flemington Racecourse, home of the Melbourne Cup, the race that stops the nation. You’ll have the chance to walk on the turf and soak up the atmosphere of this iconic sporting venue.

Next up, your expert guide will drive you through the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village from 2006 and Albert Park, the site of the Formula 1 Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. You’ll also have the chance to check out the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

Then it's time to choose your own adventure - a tour of the world famous MCG, Rod Laver Arena or entry into the National Sports Museum, where a huge collection of sporting memorabilia awaits.

Then you’ll have a chance to have a delicious lunch with your mates and tour the iconic Carlton & United Brewery, home of Fosters, Carlton Draught, Crown Lager and Pure Blonde.
