Get away from the crowds and chill out in style on the award winning SeaWind 1160 with family or friends on this 3 day sailing getaway. Bynoe Harbour parallels Darwin Harbour and is a comfortable coastal sailing cruise. View wildlife such as turltes nesting, birdlife and marine mammals. With only a maximum of 6 passengers, you will be assured of a non crowded and relaxing escape. Relax while our skipper and crew look after you. All meals included, limited alcohol provided. The Bynoe Harbour Marine Park is one of our key destinations for our muliti day sailing safaris aboard ‘EcoSafari’, a luxury 12m SeaWind 1160 Sailing Catamaran.
It is home to a diverse range of relatively intact marine and coastal habitats and contains some of the Northern Territory’s best quality reefs. Bynoe contains a rich mixture of plants and animals and provides internationally significant habitats for many species of high conservation value.
The main attractions of the Bynoe Harbour Marine Park are:
• Hosts the only known large Northern Territory seagrass bed found west of Darwin where Dugong are often seen feeding;
• Supports 33 species of shore birds, 11 species of sea birds and 14 species of water birds which regularly use the coastal environment for breeding and feeding;
• A feeding ground for juvenile hawksbill and green turtles, provides sandy beach nesting sites for flatback turtles;
• Over 250 species of fish and a high sponge diversity.
This product is ecocertified through EcoTourism Australia.
