Terms and Conditions
An indemnity must be completed and a parent/guardian must sign if child is under the age of 18. Minimum age is 10 years old and children aged 10 – 15 must ride tandem. The group rate is only applicable to 8 or more parasailers and you must ride tandem.
Cancellation Policy
Port Stephens Parasailing reserve the right to reschedule bookings due to unsuitable weather conditions or any other unforeseen situation that may arise. Bookings can only be made upon full payment. 48 hours notice must be given for any cancellation otherwise a 20% cancellation fee will be incurred. 100% cancellation fee will apply to cancellations within 24 hours of departure time.
- What to bring:
- Comfortable casual clothing ie: board shorts. Sunglasses, hat and sun cream is recommended. Bring along swimmers and a towel if you would like to be dipped and dress warmer from May to August and bring along a camera to capture the action.

Tour Description
Port Stephens Parasailing provides the most awe-inspiring view of the marine wonderland below, the parasailing trip can take high flyers soaring up to 150m above the water. The colourful ballooning parachute is winched into the air from a speed boat and enables parasailers to see Port Stephens from a rare and fascinating angle. Catering for consumers from the timid to the adrenalin charged junkie.
No experience is necessary all that is required is to relax and enjoy the view.
The Experience
The experience begins as you step onboard, you will receive a short briefing from your flight instructor. When it’s your turn to parasail, you will be secured in a safety harness, Port Stephens Parasailing uses the latest hydraulic technology to release you on and off the vessel.
From the platform of the speed boat you are gently winched into the sky, reaching a maximum height of approximately 150 meters. All that is required is to relax and enjoy the amazing view. The choice is yours as to whether you would like to stay dry or take a dip. Observe the marine life as Port Stephens is resident to approximately 80 dolphins so whether you are in the air or on enjoying the boat ride dolphins seem just out of reaching distance, enabling you to take pleasure in their playful displays.
At the completion of your 10 minute flight you will be winched back onto the boat platform. The safest way to parasail is by landing on the boat’s platform. When not in flight, you will enjoy an exciting boat ride whilst others take their turn, the maximum time on the boat will be 1 hour.
