This tour is a magical one-day coach and walking tour that will see you finding and identifying the exquisite and delicate wildflowers that surround the picturesque landscape of Perth between September and November each year.

This floral extravaganza departs Perth's Crown Hotels and Casino Complex at 8:00 am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with selected CBD accommodation pickups available on request.

Travelling in a modern and comfortable coach with an experienced botanical guide on board to answer all your flower related questions, you'll roam various locations in and around Perth in search of the finest wildflowers this beautiful region has to offer. The sloped, ancient granite outcrops and soils of the Darling Escarpment near Perth are the idyllic habitat and location to view these magnificent wildflowers and blooms. As a general rule, the wildflower season starts in the north-west region from July and gradually moves to the south-west region by November.

As quantities of blooms vary seasonally and even daily and are largely dependent on the sunshine, rainfall and season, your very knowledgeable guide will take you to locations where you can expect to find the finest display of fragrant wildflowers for you to scrutinise and photograph. Locations such as Kings Park, which is renowned for its guarantee of wildflowers, and Wireless Park, Gingin and Toodyay are also prolific at various times.

Your informative guide will help you identify the many rare and delicate wildflowers, including stunning orchids, everlastings, red and green kangaroo paw, bottle brush, banksias and of course, Western Australia's famous orange flowering Christmas trees. With ample time to identify and photograph the delicate flowers, abundant blooms and native flowering shrubs, you will not come away empty-handed. Your complimentary wildflower booklet is on hand for some interesting notetaking concerning Western Australia's unique wildflowers, as we as a special point of interest or two. After your tour, it doubles as a great way to recall all the different flowers that you saw during the day.

A refreshing morning tea and a delicious well-deserved sumptuous lunch all in a natural bush setting will leave your soul singing and your feet tapping for some more exquisite floral highlights. Wearing your comfortable walking shoes, a hat on your head and a big smile on your face, you are sure to have an absolutely wonderful day.

After an enchanting day and laden with photos, plus your trusty wildflower booklet, you'll return to your original pickup point back in Perth at approximately 4:30 pm.

    Children are considered 4-12yrs. Children from 0-3yrs are classified as infants and a free of charge, however will not occupy a seat and do not receive lunch. Infants are required to travel on parents lap for the duration of the tour. Given the long distances travelled, touring is not recommended for children under 4 years of age without due consideration.

    Tour only available September - Mid November and is subject to flower profusion. Profusions of wildflowers depend on weather and other conditions, therefore we can't guarantee sightings.
