We provide most meals - please see our tours for details. Breakfast consists of cereals, fruit, toast and tea/coffee. Lunches vary from sandwiches to BBQs. Evening meals are prepared in camp ovens or on a barbeque (gas stoves are used in unfavourable weather). Vegetarian meals can easily be prepared on request. You will be amazed at the meals that can be prepared on an open campfire...a roast dinner or fresh damper bread!!! Experience Tasmanian gourmet foods such as local cheeses and fine wines. 4 Day Edge of the Earth Tasafari
For four days we head south from Hobart and visit some of Tassie’s most well kept secrets, Cockle Creek, Hartz Mountains, Hastings Caves and Bruny Island just to name a few. Great campsites, beaches, mountains, caves, forests and fishing villages all make our trip to the edge of the Earth or at least the southern edge of Tassie a ripper.
Each day we participate in walks from 1- 5 hours and travel by four-wheel-drive troop carriers and Landrovers which are ideal to access remote areas. Each night we experience bush camping and delicious meals with campfire cooking. When we camp we use tents or you can sleep under the stars and we supply cosy swags. We see Tasmania’s unique wildlife in the wild.
All inclusive small group guided 4 Day active camping and walking tour through Bruny Island and Southern Region of Tasmania all food, transport, parks passes; camping and cooking equipment is provided.
Highlights include World Heritage Areas, Hastings Caves, Hartz Mountains, Southern Ocean, South Coast, Bruny Island, Wildlife and remote beaches.
