DAY 1 BROOME – CAPE LEVEQUE (LD)
After a 6.30am pick up from the Oaks Cable Beach resort in Broome, your adventure begins travelling north to the tip of the Dampier Peninsula, stopping off at Beagle Bay, home of the Beagle Bay Church with its glimmering pearl shell altar, for morning tea. This afternoon we arrive at Kooljaman, our camp for the next 2 nights. (STL)
DAY 2 CAPE LEVEQUE (BLD)
Cape Leveque is yours to enjoy this morning. Enjoy one of the many optional tours available at Kooljaman, http://www.kooljaman.com.au/assets/tours.html. Alternatively you may prefer to spend your time simply enjoying the pristine beaches and rugged red coastline for which Cape Leveque is famous. Across the peninsula, we visit Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Learn how a family-owned and operated pearl farm were the pioneers of this industry, tackling the challenges of living in the remote northwest to forge a niche in the South Sea Pearling industry. This afternoon relax in the gardens and browse the gallery before returning to Kooljaman. (STL)
DAY 3 CAPE LEVEQUE – WINDJANA GORGE (BLD)
Leaving Kooljaman we travel south on the Cape Leveque Road, before turning onto the Gibb River Road. This afternoon finds us arriving at the imposing Windjana Gorge, impressive and uniquely formed from ancient limestone reef. Take time to walk through this fascinating gorge. Camp tonight at Windjana Gorge. (ST)
DAY 4 WINDJANA GORGE – TUNNEL CREEK – BELL GORGE (BLD)
This morning, making our way to Tunnel Creek, a fascinating 750m tunnel with permanent pools of water snaking its way through the Napier Range. With torch in hand, we wade through the water to view the wonderful oasis that awaits us on the other side (walk optional). Travelling on, along the Gibb River Road, we really learn the meaning of isolation. Sparsely scattered cattle stations being the only signs of civilization. This afternoon we arrive at our Bell Gorge campsite, which is an ideal location to relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. (ST)
DAY 5 BELL GORGE – DRYSDALE STATION (BLD)
This morning you can enjoy a walk up to Bell Gorge. We stop off at Galvans Gorge, before we continue east on the Gibb River Road before turning north onto the Kalumburu Road, to reach our camp site at Drysdale Station. (STL)
DAY 6 DRYSDALE – MITCHELL FALLS (BLD)
Today we discover some amazing Aboriginal Rock art galleries along the way. We drive through unique forests of Livistonia Palms and landscapes into the remote Mitchell Plateau. Camp tonight at Mitchell Falls Campground (Bc+T)
DAY 7 MITCHELL FALLS - KING EDWARD (BLD)
After an early morning start we take a scenic helicopter flight to Mitchell Falls. Time to explore the falls, before starting our 4 km walk out. Along the way we explore Big Merten and Little Merten Falls. (Those not wishing to walk have the option to take a helicopter flight back). This afternoon we travel to our campsite on the banks of King Edward River with its crystal clear water pools. (Bc+T)
DAY 8 KING EDWARD – HOME VALLEY (BLD)
Today we retrace our steps to the Kalumburu Road, before heading south on the Gibb River Road to our overnight camp at Home Valley Station. (STL)
DAY 9 HOME VALLEY – EL QUESTRO (BLD)
We rejoin the Gibb River Road as we cross the mighty Pentecost River along the picturesque Cockburn Ranges, before arriving at El Questro Wilderness Park on the Chamberlain River. In this world's unique holiday destination enjoy a relaxing and revitalizing swim amongst Livistonia Palms at Zebedee Thermal Springs. (STL)
DAY 10 EL QUESTRO - KUNUNURRA (BLD)
This morning we depart El Questro to travel to Kununurra. Our campsite for the next 2 nights is located at Kimberleyland Tourist Park, on the banks of Lake Kununurra. Here you can relax and enjoy a sunset over the lake. (STL)
DAY 11 KUNUNURRA (BLD)
This morning enjoy a leisurely 3 hour cruise on the Ord River from Lake Kununurra to the Dam Wall of Lake Argyle. This cruise provides you with magnificent scenery, prolific bird life and varying fauna as you pass through a variety of different landscapes. Upon conclusion of the cruise at the Dam Wall on Lake Argyle we return to Kununurra, stopping off at the Durack Homestead Museum. The afternoon is yours to sit back and relax or take in the sights. DAY 12 KUNUNURRA - BUNGLE BUNGLE (BLD) (2 nights)
Departing Kununurra we cross the Lake Kununurra Dam Wall and along the Great Northern Highway towards Purnululu National Park, better known as the Bungle Bungle. We spend time here exploring one of Australia's greatest natural wonders visiting such areas as Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm. The regions vegetation contrasts from the unique Bungle Bungle Livistonia Palms to the tough eucalyptus and spinifex in the wide-open plains. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of Australia's most unspoilt and beautiful regions. (Bc+T)
DAY 13 BUNGLE BUNGLE (BLD)
Today you can take a helicopter flight (own expense) for a bird's eye view of the amazing area. Then we explore the unusual BeeHive Domes at Piccaninny Gorge, Cathedral Gorge and witness the setting sun lighting the red escarpment of the Bungle Bungle. This afternoon we explore the magnificent landscape of Echidna Chasm. (Bc+T)
DAY 14 BUNGLE BUNGLE – FITZROY CROSSING (BLD)
Departing the Bungle Bungle, we travel on the Great Northern Highway to our camp tonight at Fitzroy River Lodge and campground. (STL)
DAY 15 FITZROY CROSSING – DERBY - BROOME (BL)
This morning, we enjoy a fascinating cruise of Geikie Gorge on the Fitzroy River where the gorge has been cut through an ancient fossilized reef. Travelling On, we make our way to Derby, where we take a tour of the township, Boab Prison Tree, Myall's Bore and the 120 meter long Cattle Trough. We stop off at the Derby Wharf for lunch, with its 11.5 meter tides, the second largest in the world. This afternoon we travel on the Great Northern Highway to Broome and we bid farewell to our new friends and the end of your Kimberley Adventure.

Pick up from Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary or Beaches of Broome at Cable Beach at 6.30am.
Casual gear is a must. You will need 4 or 5 changes of clothing. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, bathers, bath and hand towel, a pair of rubber soled shoes or joggers, a warm jumper or jacket, hat, torch, sleeping bag, pillow, insect repellent and toiletries. A track suit is most useful, too.
Tours are not suitable for children.
