To take in all the wonders that you will see on this tour, you will need to be up early and boarding by 9am. The tour will pick you up from your accommodation or elsewhere within Adelaide CBD. Immediately, your skilled on-board tour guide will captivate and entertain you with stories that bring life to one of Australia's most beautiful regions. As your moving scenery changes from eclectic cultural streetscapes and historic buildings to spectacular open grasslands and picturesque hills, you can be certain that you will delight in every changing scene, so bring your camera.
This is a flexible tour, so talk to your tour guide about visiting the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, National Wine Centre, Adelaide Zoo, and the Bicentennial Conservatory. The tour will take in the history of Adelaide's Cultural Boulevard of North Terrace, where higher education and art collide.
As your tour moves north out of Adelaide CBD, leafy outlooks will help to anticipate the beauty of St Peter's Cathedral or the redeveloped historic Adelaide Oval. Once you've explored this part of the city, give yourself a taste sensation with a stop at the Haighs Chocolate Factory, where you tour the factory and see how this magical melt-in-your-mouth chocolate is made in the heart of South Australia.
After a lunch break, sit back and unwind as the tour winds its way to Adelaide's highest peak - Mount Lofty Summit. Here, the awe-inspiring, sweeping panoramic views will have you capturing every picture-perfect photograph of cityscape and coastline. If the weather is clear, you'll even catch Kangaroo Island on the crystalline horizon.
Your final stop on your Adelaide adventure will be a walk through history at Hahndorf, South Australia's most popular town. Hahndorf is filled with quaint and charming historic architecture. This perfectly preserved German settlement is a relic from the past that captures all the glory of revivalist culture as we head into the future. You can shop or eat at the most modern establishments while gazing at the wonder of early architecture.
Cap off your afternoon with traditional German beer tasting at the Hahndorf Inn Hotel. Arrive back in Adelaide after 5pm.
