Itinerary:
The Adelaide Hills is home to the Mt Lofty Ranges, dotted with unique and historic villages, cellar doors and spectacular landscapes, and on this half day tour you will get a small taste of this popular region.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the foothills to Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak. The Summit lookout provides breathtaking, panoramic views of the city and coastline, with visibility extending as far as Kangaroo Island on clear days – a perfect photo opportunity. Wind your way through the villages of Crafers, Stirling and Aldgate, and drive past the historic Bridgewater Mill’s waterwheel, dating back to 1860.

Stop at Beerenberg Farm Shop, where there is time to taste and purchase from their full range of products, and then it is on to Hahndorf, the jewel of the Adelaide Hills and one of South Australia’s most popular towns. Classified as Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement, the town retains its strong German heritage whilst blending new and exciting businesses, all adding to its unique atmosphere.

Hahndorf has a 'village feel' about it and the Main Street is lined with eateries, souvenir and gift shops, clothing and leather goods and craft outlets and galleries. You will have free time to explore the many beautifully maintained or restored buildings, and, enjoy its charm and hospitality with afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at the iconic Hahndorf Inn Hotel.
