Tour Description
This tour package with Out the Back Australia allows travellers to experience real life in the Outback of Queensland. Day 1 - Wednesday (D)
Tour starts at 15:00 in Cunnamulla. On arrival meet the friendly staff at Out the Back Australia and rummage through your Outback Survival Pack to see what goodies are in there for you. Enjoy afternoon tea before being checked into your accommodation. Sit back and relax as you cruise the Warrego River with a local enjoying the tranquil surrounds, history, bird and wildlife capped off by a magnificent sunset. Dinner tonight is served around a huge campfire with local entertainment were you can enjoy a 3 course dinner including locally grown organic lamb.
Overnight Cunnamulla – Accommodation is en-suite basic 3 Star however 5 Star bedding, bed linen and towels are used for your comfort.
Day 2 - Thursday (B,L,D)
Visit Glencoe Station and learn the fine art of wool, sheep and cattle production from the owners. Enjoy “Billy Tea” and damper with the owners as they show off their working sheep dogs, the sheep yards and how to shear a sheep. Visit “Hortonvale” organic farm and “Melrose” grape farm. Back in Cunnamulla take a historical tour of the town before heading to a local farm stay where you will learn firsthand the running of the property and relaxed lifestyle of a grazier in the outback And the special points of interest on the fam. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of a Natural Artesian Spa from the largest underground river system in the world. Overnight Farm Stay near Cunnamulla. Shared Facilities.
Day 3 - Friday (B, L,)
Enjoy breakfast and a guided tour of the property before heading back into Cunnamulla. Enjoy a hearty lunch before bidding your new mates a fond farewell. Ends 14:30.
