Fraser Island is World Heritage Listed, and once you have been on a tour there you will understand why. It is a place with such natural beauty that you won’t believe it is possible to have so much in one place.  You will drive down along 75 Mile Beach, the best beach “highway” in the world, get to swim in lakes where the water is so clear you can see the bottom and gaze at the Pinnacles where the colour seems unreal.

  • Swim in Lake McKenzie, the island's most beautiful lake
  • Walk along the banks of Wanggoolba
  • Travel up famous Seventy-Five Mile Beach
  • See the coloured sands of the Pinnacles and Maheno Wreck
  • Stop for a swim in Eli Creek

Spend a full day in paradise and discover the natural beauty of Fraser Island. Drive across sand tracks, visit the iconic white sands and blue waters of Lake McKenzie, walk through rainforests, float down Eli Creek, and see the famous Maheno shipwreck.

Your day starts with a courtesy pick-up from Rainbow Beach, and a barge crossing from Inskip Point to K'gari, Fraser Island.

The tour is led by a local guide who is an expert in all things Fraser Island and can impart local knowledge throughout your day. Your day on the island is all-inclusive, driving across sand tracks to explore some beautiful spots, while we let you know interesting facts about the island's history, fauna and flora. You'll travel in comfort in our custom-designed 4WD buses, all of which are air-conditioned.

Once we arrive on the island we set off on our tour of the island, visiting locations such as;
Central Station - this former logging station is now a flourishing rainforest, fitted with boardwalks. Stroll along the Wanggoolba Creek boardwalk to discover the ancient King Ferns, towering gum and pine trees.
Lake McKenzie - enjoy a revitalising swim in the crystal blue waters and relax on the sandy white beaches... it's a picture-perfect freshwater lake!
75 Mile Beach - as you drive along this sandy highway, you may spot birds of prey flying above or humpback whales as they migrate past (between July – November).
Eli Creek - float down this fast-flowing freshwater creek and pours up to four million litres of clear, freshwater into the ocean every hour.
Maheno Shipwreck - enjoy a photo stop at the rusting wreck of the Maheno washed ashore during an out-of-season cyclone in 1935 – it's one of Fraser Island's most recognisable sites.
The Pinnacles Coloured Sands - learn how 72 colours of sand formed and the Butchulla legends surrounding them. We stop to take a picture as we drive along 75 Mile Beach.

Along the way, you'll enjoy lunch at the K'gari Beach Resort. The tour departs Fraser Island at approximately 4.30pm on the barge, arriving back in Rainbow Beach between 5.00pm and 5.30pm to drop you off at your accommodation.

Please note: Itinerary can change due to tides and weather conditions.
