The safari takes you cruising on the calm waters of Proserpine River to view saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat and to experience a mangrove ecosystem.

Explore Goorganga Plains on a tractor-drawn wagon train and discover the vegetation and wildlife in a freshwater wetland habitat.

The tour is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with minimal walking involved, and includes a huge barbecue lunch and traditional billy tea and damper.

  • Pickup/departure instructions:

    Pick ups occur between 08:30 and 09:00, from selected locations throughout Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Proserpine. Please contact our reservations department at least 48 hours prior to confirm a pick up location and exact pick up time. You will receive a manifest number and pick up location and time from our reservations department to join the tour.

  • Child policies:

    Child prices apply to primary and secondary school children, aged from 5 to 17 years. The rate for preschool children, aged 1 to 4 years, is $50.00 per person, which is payable direct. Infants under 12 months of age are free of charge.

    It is recommended that guests should wear clothing appropriate for the prevailing weather conditions. Proserpine River can be several degrees cooler than the town areas, even in summer, so bring a jacket or jumper, especially if it is windy.

    Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other dietary requirements can be catered for, but only by prior request. When phoning our reservations department to confirm your pick up location and time, please indicate if you have special dietary requirements or allergies to food.
