Whether you are a novice or experienced kayaker, your adventure will include paddling our gorgeous Marine Park, the waves, the wilderness and morning or afternoon tea with Tim-Tams on a beautiful beach.

Cape Byron Kayaks is the original and the best kayaking tour in Byron Bay. Our professional guides share a wealth of knowledge, taking care of all your needs and making your experience a safe and memorable one.

* Launch from one of Australia’s most famous beaches
* Paddle out to middle reef and on to the Cape Byron Marine Park
* See Australia’s most Easterly Point from the water
* Look out for our local dolphins, turtles and from May-Nov humpback whales
* Eat Tim Tams on a pristine beach after surfing the waves
* Make memories

Your tour begins with a pick up from your accommodation in Byron Bay then after signing in we get you geared up with wetsuits (if required), life jacket and a helmet before arming you with a paddle. Our local guides will then give you a short paddling demonstration and instruction before we take our boats to the water’s edge.
At the water we will have a short safety talk before launching you off the beach to begin our adventure. Paddling out to middle reef we look out for turtles. Loggerhead, Green and Hawksbill then it’s off towards the famous Pass where surfers from all over the world come to test out there skills. Paddling around the headland always keeping a look out for our resident dolphins we are able to see Australia’s most Easterly point and the beautiful light house.

We will then spend some time looking and hopefully hanging out with our resident dolphins and from May-Nov we get the added bonus of seeing Humpback Whales.

When we need a break we pull in to one of our pristine beaches and have hot drinks and Tim Tams to recharge the batteries.

During your tour we will take photos with our go pro and then these will be on Facebook for you to share with family and friends.

We see dolphins on 90% of our tours but if we don’t see dolphins or whales on your tour then you can use our dolphin guarantee and come out again for FREE.
With fun, friendly and knowledgeable staff we always endeavour to provide outstanding service so you can enjoy this experience as much as we do. So if you’re ready for a fun adventure for any age, ability and budget then wait no longer. We look forward to seeing you out on the water.
