Just imagine sipping on world-renowned white, red and sparkling wine varieties and crisp ciders as friendly winemakers and storekeepers welcome you with lovingly produced gourmet cheese, chocolate and fresh locally-grown food. On this tour you will return knowing a lot more than when you started!

  • Wine tastings at two Yarra Valley wineries, plus Napoleone & Co cider tastings
  • You’ll visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Gateway Estate Farmhouse
  • Scrumptious local snacks for morning tea. Gourmet 2 course lunch at a winery.
  • See the wonderful scenery with rolling hills and patchwork vineyards of the Yarra Valley.

You’ll start this gastronomical adventure in Melbourne City, with pickups at St Paul's Cathedral on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Street at 7:45 AM, or with complimentary accommodation pickups from selected hotels in Melbourne, Southbank, St Kilda, Docklands and South Yarra. Take your turn, with new friends, to wander through the beautiful rolling green hills of the Yarra Valley and peruse just what has enticed the many visitors over the last 150 years. Your small coach (max 24 persons) – creates a fun and social atmosphere.

Gateway Estate Farmhouse - You’ll get a chance to sample superb locally grown fresh seasonal produce, such as berries, apples and stone fruit and a mouth-watering selection of assorted local relishes and cheeses. Pick your own luscious strawberries (subject to availability and at own expense) in the hydroponic greenhouse, then sample the smooth ports and strawberry liqueurs and partake in the famous ‘strawberry shot-cake’!

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice-Creamery - Indulge in free chocolate at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie while watching French and Belgium chocolatiers meticulously hand make over 250 assorted truffle and chocolate varieties. Drool over the ‘Great Wall of Chocolate’ and walk away with a delicious sweet treat that includes chocolates suffused with cherries, apricots, plums, almonds, citrus and more from the Chocolaterie orchard.

Napoleone Brewery & Cider House - You would be mistaken for thinking the very appealing rural Napoleone Cider House and Brewery may focus on wine, but nothing could be further from the truth. You haven’t given cider a try or even much thought? Be very pleasantly surprised, give it a go, and prepare yourself for a fantastic tingling taste bud sensation. With the knowledge of three generations, 100% fresh apple and pear juice grown and loving produced on site, these ciders are full of fresh, crisp flavours. Enjoy a generous sample of ciders and ales made onsite at this rustic micro- brewery in the heart of the valley.

Killara Estate Winery - Enjoy an Italian style winery lunch of pizza's, pastas and antipasto platters at Killara Estate, an Italian family run vineyard overlooking some of the best views of the Yarra Valley wine region. We also get to enjoy a variety of quality wines at the cellar door.

Hanrahans Winery - We finish the day visiting a boutique vineyard Hanrahan Winery, where you get to sample a variety of quality wines.

After a fantastic fun filled day, you’ll arrive back at your accommodation between 5:00-6:00pm.
