Mornington Peninsula is Melbourne's holiday playground...stunning views from Arthurs Seat summit over the bay with its long white sand beaches, the splendour of vineyards, farms, holiday homes and a quiet country lifestyle, the Mornington Peninsula is a true delight.

  • The Cups Estate - known for their wines, olives and berads
  • Mornington Peninsula Chocolates
  • Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm - strawberries are seasonal.
  • Photo stop at Arthur's seat

We visit the seaside resort of Mornington for morning tea (own expense) or perhaps you would prefer a walk along the pier or simply relax on the beach to see the stunning bay views and beachfront homes. Then it is off the The Cups Estate - sample an extensive range of hand crafted cool-climate wines accompanied with estate grown olives, olive oil and bread. The Grape vines and olive trees providing a picture perfect background for our tasting.

Also tour through the small township of Flinders with its preserved streetscape and then immerse yourself in the delicate aroma of indulgent chocolate as we enter the impressive atelier of Mornington Peninsula Chocolates for tasting. Don't eat too much as we have a delicious bakery cafe lunch with a drink in the rustic and charming setting at local favourite Flinders Bakehouse Cafe. After lunch we head to Flinders Lookout with panoramic coastal views of Bass Strait and then a scenic drive through Flinders Golf Course with stunning ocean vistas on our way to ider and produce tastings at Mock Red Hill.

Our final culinary stop for the day is Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, one of Australia's largest strawberry producers. In season you can wander through strawberry fields and pick your own luscious strawberries or perhaps enjoy afternoon tea (own expense). On our way back to Melbourne we stop at Murray's Lookout (Arthur's Seat) for panoramic views across the bay to the city.
