• Discover the Daintree Rainforest on a guided board walk
• Indulge in a delicious lunch, followed by a walk along Cape Tribulation Beach
• Learn from an indigenous guide as he or she leads you on an amazing interpretive tour at Mossman Gorge

With a bright and early 7:30 am onwards pickup from your Cairns, Cairns Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation, you’ll meet your friendly guide and fellow travellers as you hop aboard your air conditioned tour coach. Travelling along a scenic route, you’ll pass through coastal vistas, lush forested roads and the towns of Port Douglas and Mossman. While doing so, your highly experienced guide will tell you about the amazing flora and fauna species you’ll encounter while in the famous Daintree Rainforest.

First, you’ll have a quick stop in Daintree Village before boarding the river vessel for a relaxing wildlife cruise. If you’ve always wanted to see a real estuarine crocodile in the wild, now’s your chance, so keep your eyes peeled! You’ll also see some amazing bird and insect species, as well as other wildlife, while you gently cruise along.

After your cruise, you’ll head north along a track that goes through some of the world’s oldest living rainforest. A professionally guided interpretive tour along a rainforest boardwalk will immerse you in lush beauty and a diverse ecosystem full of rare and protected plant and animal species. This walk will take you under majestic rainforest canopies, atop low-lying ferns and even mangrove swampland.

Next, you’ll drive the short distance to Cape Tribulation, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and a walk along the famous Cape Trib Beach, where the ocean meets the reef. If time permits, you’ll have the chance to taste the delights at a local tropical ice cream company before stopping to admire the awe-inspiring views from Alexandra Lookout. You’ll then head back across the Daintree River via cable ferry.

Your next amazing adventure will begin at the Mossman Gorge Centre, where you’ll jump on an ecofriendly bus and head towards the heart of Mossman Gorge / Wurrumbu. A knowledgeable Indigenous guide will lead you through the stunning Gorge (Kuku Yalanji country), teaching you about their traditional cultures, beliefs, foods and medicines. Enjoy a dip in a rainforest water hole and take some stunning photos before returning to the Mossman Gorge Centre for a look at the traditional Indigenous arts and crafts on display. You can purchase your own afternoon tea if you’re feeling peckish after all the activity.

On the way home, you’ll drive through beautiful Port Douglas (5 pm, for those departing the tour here) and – if time allows – stop at the Rex Lookout. You’ll be returned to your original pickup location, arriving in Cairns at around 7 pm.
