Our courtesy pick-up and drop-off service is provided from selected Adelaide Central Business District accommodation; otherwise, you’ll meet at the Adelaide Central Bus Station (85 Franklin Street) at 9:00 am. After a relaxing fifteen minutes meeting your fellow intrepid travellers and your pleasant guide, you’ll travel through the cosmopolitan city of Adelaide north to the Barossa wine region. Be pleasantly surprised at the changing scenery as you amble through undulating countryside of vineyards and fresh produce on your way to an exciting epicurean exhibition.

The first point of call is Pindarie, a multi-tourism award winning cellar door, which feels more like an Australian Homestead than a cellar door. The friendly staff share their stories behind the wines as you sample their famous blends in the heritage stables. Sit back and admire their stunning vineyard views while you enjoy some morning tea.

Next stop is Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Maggie Beer is the cook, writer and founder of 'Maggie Beer Products', and offers tastings and sales of her personally selected gourmet range, including premium seasonal produce.

Lunchtime calls, so it’s on to Lambert Estate at Angaston, where you will enjoy a scrumptious 2 course lunch and wine tasting. Graze from gourmet platters while you learn about the wines, the family and the history of the winery. Main course follows, and it's a feast for the senses, with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. You may like to buy a glass of wine to complement your meal, or enjoy a coffee accompanied by their popular Chocolatier (Chocolate Port).

Leaving Lambert Estate, travel to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views over the valley and then onto the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company your final stop for the day. Here you will taste house made chocolates paired with Vineyard Road’s handcrafted wines which will be a great way to finish off your Barossa Food & Wine Experience.

After a marvellous day of wining, dining and sightseeing in the beautiful Barossa region, you’ll arrive back in Adelaide at 5:15 pm, where you’ll be returned to your original pickup location.

NOTE:  Maggies Beer's Farm Shop may not be available during peak periods and free time will be spent in the main street of Tanunda.

• Pindarie will be closed between 23rd December 2019 to 5th January 2020 and morning tea and wine tastings will be held at Kies Family Wines and Monkey Nut Café.
• On 1st January 2020 (New Year’s Day) Pindarie and Maggie Beers are both closed. Morning tea and wine tastings will be held at Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre to replace Pindarie and Wine Tasting at Saltram Wine Estate will replace Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop
