OVERNIGHT ITINERARY

Day 1 (Lunch/Dinner)
After picking you up from your accommodation in Alice Springs bright and early, we hit the road on our adventure of a lifetime.

Our journey begins heading south to Erldunda travelling through the Waterhouse and James Ranges with a stop at the Camel Farm for refreshments and a Camel ride if you're keen (own expense). We stop at Mount Ebenezer Roadhouse where you can view or purchase Aboriginal artifacts. On the way to Uluru we stop to view Atila (Mount Connor), a mesa tableland and the first significant rock formation of our trip.

After a stop for lunch and our arrival at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, we head to the Cultural Centre and the opportunity to learn about the local Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa) before a short, guided walk at the base of Uluru. Those choosing to climb will have the opportunity to do so, weather permitting. (Note: Uluru is a sacred site and Anangu, the indigenous custodians, respectfully ask visitors not to climb it).

Experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset, away from the crowds, complete with sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and contemplate the day and the vastness of the desert.

Afterwards setting in at our remote private camp, complete with dinner cooked over the open campfire and a glass of wine before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or your comfortable safari tent complete with beds.

Day 2 (Breakfast)
Your guide will wake you bright and early to experience a mesmerising Uluru sunrise which can be viewed close-by our campsite, early mornings being such a magical time in the desert. Then it’s a short drive to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), an Aboriginal word for “many heads”, to explore its domes of which there are 36 in total. Pull on your hiking boots and take the Valley of the Winds walk through creek beds, domes and beautiful wilderness.

After the return transfer to Ayers Rock Resort your Red Centre experience comes to an end.
