This is the perfect 3 day camping adventure to see The Red Centre the way it is meant to be seen. We travel along dirt tracks, camp in private areas, learn all about the history and culture of the desert and be one with the land. Camping adds another layer to the experience. See the stars at night will be an image which will stay with you forever & the stores from around the campfire will make you chukkle for a long time to come.
This four wheel drive safari offers an authentic outback adventure with a touch of style and quality. We are a genuine small group operator carrying a maximum of 21 people in purpose built 4-wheel drive vehicles. As well as experiencing the wonders of Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Watarrka (Kings Canyon), we'll give you the opportunity to really experience the desert - driving on dirt roads, private bush camps, eating quality food cooked over a campfire and sleeping under the clearest southern stars you can imagine.
Day 1 (Lunch* / Dinner)
After picking you up our Alice Springs passengers from accommodation bright and early at approximately 6.00am, we complete ticketing and introductions and then hit the road on our adventure of a lifetime.
Our journey begins heading south to Erldunda travelling through the Waterhouse and James Ranges with a stop at the Camel Farm for refreshments and a Camel ride if you're keen (own expense). On the way to Uluru we stop to view Atila (Mount Connor), a mesa tableland and the first significant rock formation of our trip.
After a stop for lunch, we collect our Ayers Rock passengers and head to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, where we visit the Cultural Centre and the opportunity to learn about the local Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa) before a interpretive tour at the base of Uluru. Those choosing to climb will have the opportunity to do so, weather permitting. (Note: Uluru is a sacred site and Anangu, the indigenous custodians, respectfully ask visitors not to climb it).
Experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset, away from the crowds, complete with sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and contemplate the day and the vastness of the desert. Afterwards settle in at our remote private camp, complete with dinner cooked over the open campfire before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or your comfortable safari tent complete with beds.

After this we head off to Kings Creek Cattle Station for our second night's private bush camp, complete with bush toilet and shower.
With nobody else for miles, this camp has stunning views out over the George Gill Ranges and gives you a real feel for the outback. Dinner around the campfire makes for a very social time with another night out under the stars.
