This is a great half day tour with wonderful contrasts. As we travel to Mt Field National Park you will see the beautiful Derwent Valley. Another wonderful experience is driving throgh the hops at Bushy Park. Tasmania is known for it's great beer! Once you get to Mt Field National Park there are walks through the fern forests and some of the tallest trees in the world, a challenge to photograph the whole tree! You will also stop at the besutiful Russell Falls, there is something so calming about waterfalls!
Journey north west of Hobart and into the wilderness, and experience Tasmania’s oldest national park on this breathtaking adventure.
On our way to Tasmania’s oldest national park we pass through the Derwent Valley, the historic settlement of New Norfolk and the hop fields of Bushy Park.
We arrive at the wilderness wonderland of Mt Field National Park. The park has a variety of scenic highlights and wildlife with stunning walks through enormous fern forests, some of the world’s tallest trees and the beautiful Russell Falls.

This tour has a centralised meeting point at the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre (Corner of Elizabeth & Davey Street)
What to bring:
-Comfortable trail walking shoes
-Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
-Clothes to suit conditions (layers are a good idea)
-Waterproof jacket (just in case)
Minimum age to join tour is 8 years. Children between 8 and 18 years pay the adult rate, and must travel with a parent or legal guardian.
