Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River Wetlands , home to the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. Enjoy viewing plenty of crocodiles plus a huge variety of birds and other local wildlife in their natural environment. Our boat design allows you to get up close to the animals with plenty of opportunities to take amazing pictures as we cruise around this nature lovers paradise.

Late afternoon is generally the best time of day to see animals and our 2.0 hour sunset cruise allows you to view the wildlife during their very active periods. Birds are trying to catch their final meals before flying to roost for the evening and crocodiles are on the move ready for a night of hunting. Add to this a spectacular sunset over the floodplains and it`s easy to understand why this is one of our most popular cruises.

Guests are provided with amazing photography opportunities throughout the entire cruise as the colours of the sky continuously change as the sun sinks over the horizon. We are the only company in this region offering sunset cruises to their customers.

If driving in the dark bothers you, we operate a $5 return transfer service to the cruise (bookings essential) from Corroboree Park Tavern & Campground
