This is the ultimate in self-guided exploration of Queensland’s most beautiful location – the Whitsundays Islands. See and do whatever you’d like, using our high-speed vessel to transfer you from island to island, between the mainland, Daydream Island and Hamilton Island. Freedom has never looked this good!

• Embark on a day of island hopping with your Island Hopper Pass and plan your day the way you want it.
• The high-speed island hopping vessel is available all day, so that you can hop between islands and the mainland at will.
• Explore Hamilton Island and Daydream Island, experiencing whichever aspects you’d prefer, with no restrictions!

Departing from Port of Airlie, Airlie Beach, at whatever departure time suits you; you can jump aboard the high-speed island-hopping vessel for a day of fun. Armed with your Island Hopper Pass and ‘Resort Connections’ timetable, you can create your own personal day trip, choosing between Hamilton Island and the Daydream Island Resort and Spa, both of these, or even back and forth between them, multiple times! This is the perfect choice for those day-trippers who don’t like to be restrained by set schedules and activities.

At Hamilton Island, you can stroll around the sweeping beaches enjoying the paradisiacal scenery or jump on a hired golf buggy to easily see the inland sections of the island. Relax by the Marina or go window shopping along Front Street and enjoy the quaint atmosphere of the many boutique stores, art galleries and café’s. With a number of resorts, restaurants and bars dotting the island, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch, a cocktail with views of the ocean or even a picnic under a palm tree.

As its name suggests, Daydream Island is the ultimate oasis for those looking for a relaxing, magical experience. Enjoy a walk along the cute little island beaches, try some snorkelling or scuba diving, jet skiing or beach games. Daydream Island Resort and Spa offers the ultimate in luxury for its visitors. You can relax by the pool or take a dip in its clear waters, play a round of mini golf or pamper yourself in the day spa. The most coveted attraction on Daydream Island is the ‘Living Reef’ Coral Lagoon, where you can explore the miniature Great Barrier Reef type aquarium and watch a shark and stingray feeding! There are many great dining options on Daydream Island too.

When you have had your fill of these island wonderlands, you can jump back on the boat and return to the mainland. Just be sure to find the boat back before the last departure, or you will be stuck on one of the islands overnight (which might just end up being a purposeful act!).
