While enjoying your tea, coffee and a delicious slice of cake, you'll view a reef presentation and the crew will give you a snorkelling demonstration, ensuring you'll be prepared and full of knowledge about your destination and the activities you'll experience.

When you arrive at the amazing Outer Great Barrier Reef platform, you'll be able to choose from a number of activities. If you'd like to jump in for a snorkel, you can do so directly from the platform, giving you immediate access to the underwater wonderland that is the Great Barrier Reef. The semi-submersible tour includes commentary and will allow you to see the spectacular colours of the sea life and corals without getting wet. You can also enter the underwater observatory, which also allows you to stay dry as you experience the colourful underwater paradise. Optional extras such as introductory diving lessons, certified diving and snorkel tours are also available for pre-booking.

After your morning activities, you'll no doubt have worked up a healthy appetite, so a full hot and cold buffet lunch will give you the energy to continue taking in this spectacular location. If you're looking to indulge yourself, you can even relax on the sundeck, taking in the scenery while sipping on a tea or coffee.

After you've had time to fully appreciate this wondrous ecosystem, you'll jump back on board your vessel for the return trip to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, enjoying cheese and biscuits as well as the view along the way. You'll arrive back in Cairns at around 5:30 pm.
