Wave rock is nearly 15 metres high and 110 meters long and is shaped as its name would suggest – like a giant, breaking wave. 2700 million years in the making, this granite wave has been formed by natural weathering and water erosion. Minerals scattered throughout these rocks add brilliant colours of black, orange and gold to this spectacular natural wonder. Springtime is alive with colour as the native flowers and orchids happily thrive and bloom under magnificent she-oaks. Well-maintained walking tracks allow for easy year round access. An absolute must-see!
