This Tour has been thoughtfully created to provide visitors to the Far North, the opportunity to visit some of the true gems of the region and experience being in a World Heritage listed rainforest, all without breaking the bank.

Cape Tribulation is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed regions live alongside each other. Located within the Wet Tropics listed area and bordering the Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation is certainly a must-do experience for any visitor to the Far North and this is the perfect way to do it.

Starting your day, one of the highly experienced drivers will pick you up from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle. You will then enjoy the drive north along one of the most renowned scenic coastal roads in Australia along towards the World Heritage Listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks.

Only an hour's drive north, you will arrive at Port Douglas, where you will be free to stroll through the town centre which, due to its small village feel and laid back style, is a favourite holiday location for the rich and famous. (You may choose to Add-On entry to the Wildlife Habitat in place of free time in Port Douglas)

Back on the road, we then head to the majestic Mossman Gorge National Park, where your guide will enlighten you with an informative interpretation of the rainforest, its foods, its medicines and history during your guided walk. You will also be able to enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool flowing water. Then enjoy a spectacular drive over the rainforest clad mountains and a photo opportunity at Alexandria Lookout.

We will be stopping off for lunch at the Cape Tribulation Beach House. Whilst lunch is not included, a chef prepared lunch can be purchased as an Add-On, or you are welcome to bring along a pre-packed lunch, and snacks are available from the bistro. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to explore the world famous beach at Cape Tribulation - where the rainforest meets the reef.

Your next adventure will be a One Hour River Cruise on the mighty Daintree River. Home to a dazzling array of tropical life, the Daintree River is a fresh water river for its journey through the rainforest but becomes very salty as it winds its way through dense mangrove swamps toward the mouth. Of course, the Daintree River's most famous resident is the salt water crocodile and this tour provides a great opportunity to see them in the wild.

Finally, you will return to your accommodation with a brief stop at Rex Lookout if you are heading back to Cairns.
