The Rock Tour "3 Day Uluru" Tour is an active 1,500km round Camping trip spread out over 3 days and 2 nights. We visit all of the Red Centre attractions including Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset and Sunrise, the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), Kings Canyon (Watarrka), Atila (Mount Connor), the Camel Farm, Lake Amadeus Salt Lakes, Curtin Springs Cattle Station (Bush Camp), Mount Ebenezer and Kings Creek Cattle Station.

Additional fee of $25 per person for Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park fee.

    All meals as stated, transport, air conditioned comfortable 21 seat bus, fun & experienced tour guide, swags and camping equipment.

  • Available for purchase/hire:

    Sleeping bags can be hired for $20.00 each (ours are -10 deg suitable for winter May-Sept)

  • Duration:

    3 Days / 2 Nights. We depart from Alice Springs Daily at 6:00am and return to Alice Springs at 5:30pm on Day 3.

    If you have a cheap flight out of Ayers Rock Airport we can drop you off on Day 3 at the Ayers Rock Airport after 10:30am. All you will miss is the 5 hour bus trip from Ayers Rock to Alice Springs and you will get to fly over the top of Uluru!

  • Departure:

    5:30 AM Daily

  • Return:

    Finish in Ayers Rock Airport or Ayers Rock Resort by 10am on day 3.

  • Departure points:

    Alice Springs and Ayers Rock

  • Pickup/departure instructions:

    Pick up from any Hotel/Motel, Backpackers, Caravan Parks in Alice Springs at 5.30am. On day 3 finish in Ayers Rock Airport or Ayers Rock Resort at 10.00am.
    This tour with Ayers Rock Drop off is only available from April to November each year.

  • What to bring:

    A small bag, sturdy walking shoes (no thongs or sandals), a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, towel, swimmers, toiletries, camera and sunglasses. Warm clothes for the winter and comfortable light fitting clothes for the summer.

  • Fitness level required:

    Low

  • Child policies:

    Children are not able to travel on this tour. All passengers are required to be at or over the age of 18yrs. Please note that the walks on the tour can be strenuous and are often carried out in the extreme heat of the Australian Desert.

  • Additional Information:

    Uluru Park Entry is the only additional cost at $25.00 per person. You can hire a warm winter sleeping bag from us for only $20.00.

    Please note that all passengers should be aware that the walks on this tour can be strenuous and extreme heat conditions in Central Australia can often reach more than 45 degrees celsius. Passengers are required to ensure that they are of an age and fitness level capable of coping with these conditions.
