  • Spot sea lions, fur seals, platypus, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, echidnas and so much more!

Your day begins with a relaxing morning trip from your Adelaide or Glenelg accommodation to Kangaroo Island, via air-conditioned coach and ferry. Along the way, you’ll see some of Adelaide’s beautiful and unique scenery, including vineyards, undulating hillsides, coast land and ocean views. When you step off the ferry at Kangaroo Island’s port, Penneshaw, you’ll meet your friendly tour guide and board your Island tour coach for a day full of wonder.

Your first stop is Seal Bay Conservation Park to mingle with the Island’s colony of Australian sea lions – a truly rare encounter outside of this location. Your friendly and professional guide will teach you a thing or two about these inquisitive mammals before taking you to enjoy your two-course spread of some of South Australia’s most delicious food.

As the day progresses, you’ll visit Flinders Chase National Park, for the chance to spot the creatures of the forest. This majestic National Park is famous for its large population of Australian wildlife and you may encounter platypus, echidnas, kangaroos, wallabies and more koalas! Experience the unforgettable sights of the islands coastline, including the magnificent and iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. While here, you’ll be led down the Cliffside boardwalk to the Long-nosed fur seal colony for a visit with these spirited animals.

Later in the afternoon return to Penneshaw for your ferry and coach transfer back to Adelaide, approximate return 10.40pm.

NOTE (As at 15 Jan 2020): In light of the recent bushfires, a modified itinerary will be in effect until Flinders Chase is open to visitors, and will include the following - Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Seal Bay Conservation Park, Raptor Domain and KI Wildlife Park.
