Our small sized groups spend a whole day exploring Phillip Island with a visit to a wildlife park and premier destinations of the region. At dusk witness the nightly show of the little Penguins at the World Famous Penguin parade. We stay overnight in a cabin park before visiting Wilsons Promontory for a day of bushwalking, exploring the beaches and mountains, and viewing the wild animals of this spectacular park.

Day One

*Depart Melbourne to Moonlit Wildlife Sanctuary
*Explore The Nobbies and seal rocks
*Witness the Penguin Parade
*Overnight stay in hostel

Day one will see you head down to Phillip Island, stopping off at Moonlit Sanctuary to meet some locals. You’ll be able to hand feed kangaroos and wallabies, cuddle a koala (fee applicable), come face to face with a Tassie Devil, and see some amazing native birds including emus and cockatoos.

Next it is off to Phillip Island to see the world famous Penguin Parade. While on the island we have a range of activities to keep you entertained while we wait until the Little Penguins are ready to come ashore. After the parade you’ll spend the night on the Island at our Island Accommodation.

Day Two

*After light breakfast you are transferred for your pickup to Wilsons Promontory National Park
*Kangaroo's & Emu's in the wild
*Mt Bishop walk (2.5hrs)
*Fern gullies and mountain views with lunch
*Squeaky Beach walk to Tidal River (1.5hrs)
*Easy - medium graded walks

In the morning you’ll be taken back to the mainland to meet up with our Wilson's Promontory tour. Once down at the Prom you’ll see emus and kangaroos again, but this time in the wild! You might even be lucky enough to see one of the secretive wombats that live on the Prom.

We’ll take you hiking to the top of one of the nearby mountains to take in the epic coastal vistas filled with white sand beaches and granite islands, then down to one of the untouched beaches to either cool off our just to relax.

Includes: Meal as indicated (1 lunch, 1 Breakfast), transport, entry to all parks and Penguin parade, accommodation (hostel dorm including bed linen)

    Tour departs Tuesdays and Saturdays year-round, 9:45am - 10:45am. Time of pick up depends on hotel selected.
    It is important to reconfirm your departure time with the tour operator 24-48hrs prior to departure.
    We pick up from selected hotels and hostels in inner city Melbourne and St Kilda prior to the departure time.

    Due to the length of our tours and difficulty of walks in Wilsons Promontory we do not recommend infants/children under the age of 12. Both infants and children pay full adult price and you MUST stay in upgraded accommodation - not shared facilities. There is no storage available for prams/strollers on board our buses.
