Of Victoria’s most stunning attractions, the Yarra Valley and Blue Dandenongs are among the best. After an early pick-up (approx. 8:10am) from Federation Square East (corner of Flinders & Russell Streets) or your Melbourne accommodation (on request), you’ll pass Melbourne’s interesting Eastern Suburbs on your way out to the lush Sherbrooke Forest. Resplendent with towering Mountain Ash groves, tall eucalypts and fern gullies, you’ll spot a variety of wildlife, such as bellbirds, lyrebirds and kookaburras in this magnificent location in foothils of the Dandenongs Ranges.

You’ll be treated to a delightful traditional Bush Billy Tea (Aussie grown tea with a hint of gum leaves), accompanied by lamingtons and crackers with Vegemite. After morning tea, you'll have some time to spot some bright Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots, before boarding the Puffing Billy Steam Train. This 100 year old steam locomotive will slowly wind you through gorgeous forest scenery of the Dandenongs, allowing you to experience the sights, sounds and smells of a trip from a bygone era.

After your Puffing Billy experience, you’ll visit Fergusson’s winery – one of Yarra Valley’s reputed wine producers – to sample some of their delicious wine. While here, you’ll indulge in a delicious spit roast lunch (vegetarian options available) before embarking on a tour through the picturesque Yarra Valley and its vineyards.

Looking for dessert? You’ll satisfy your sweet tooth with a visit to Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. Here you will delight in the taste of premium chocolate samples, watch the chocolatiers at work and perhaps purchase some chocolate 'for later'.

After passing through the quaint township of Healesville, you’ll stop at Rochford Wines for another delicious wine tasting. This gorgeous winery is renowned for its premium Aussie wines and hosting 'A Day On The Green' concertsfor some of the world's top artists and many Austrlalain household names.

Lastly, a visit to Dominique Portet Winery where you will get an insiders view of the winery's current seasonal processes. Complete your day with a tasing of their delicious wines, with cheese and crackers to keep the smile on your face, all the way back to Melbourne.
