DAY 1: PORT ARTHUR
Spend the morning strolling around Richmond Colonial Village ( 1 hour visiting time) Australia's most historic town. Admire its beautiful Georgian buildings and see the oldest bridge in Australia.
We then head to the Tasman Peninsula, take in sweeping ocean views and marvel at the magnificent coastline.
Visit Pirates Bay Lookout before heading to pristine Eaglehawk Neck, breathe the salt air as you take a walk on beautiful Egg Beach then learn about the notorious convict "Dogline"...can you escape from Port Arthur? Take the Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen walk visit the famous DOO TOWN & blowhole before quick stops at Federation Chocolate Factory and Lavender Farm before arriving at the famous Port Arthur!
At Port Arthur, Australia's number 1 historic site, visit over 30 historic buildings, take a harbour cruise and walking tour to enhance the experience, and check out the popular museum. We spend maximum time at the famous Port Arthur (4 hours).........you won't miss a thing!
Before departing for Hobart, we visit the stunning Remarkable Cave (seasonal) and see panoramic views from Maingon Bay Lookout.
Enjoy our brand new convict DVD storyteller with carefully crafted stories, old pictures, and moving images as you travel between destinations.
Hear the stories of Tasmanian convicts and learn how they truly lived. On the way home, sit back and enjoy our Tasmanian Devil documentary.
DAY 2:Hobart "Big Ticket" tour
In the morning we make our way to the summit of majestic Mt Wellington 1271 metres above Hobart.
En route we pass by the famous Cascade Brewery and through the forested areas of the lower slopes of the mountain before arriving at the summit.
You will have plenty of time to check out the panoramic views of Hobart, Derwent River and the mountain ranges of Southern Tasmania before we return to sea level.
Returning to Hobart we cross over the Tasman Bridge and visit Rosny Lookout, here you can experience Hobart from a different elevation before arriving at historic Bellerive Bluff and a short stroll around the coast to one of Hobart's popular inner city beaches.
We then head along the Eastern Shore of the Derwent River arriving at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and the famous Tassie Devils. You will be able to hand feed the kangaroos, pat a wombat & Koala and take a guided tour to meet the park's other native animals, before coming face to face with the ferocious Tassie Devils.
The tour also includes a new DVD STORYTELLER.
As we travel around Hobart, you will be come to know the stories of Hobarts history as told through the old photos on the DVD screens and our expert guide's commentary.

Airport pick up & drop offs can be arranged...ask at time of booking.
