Get picked up and head to the port where we will embark on a beautiful cruise across the magnificent Moreton Bay on the MiCat Ferry. Upon arrival, relax and chill on the golden sandy beach with the wonderful view of Tangalooma Wrecks. Our tour guide will then take you on a snorkeling tour where you can spot turtles, dolphins, coral and thousands of beautiful reef fish! Back on the beach, you will be served with a wonderful fresh picnic lunch by our guide! After lunch, discover the hidden underwater wonders of the Tangalooma Wrecks with our fully guided transparent kayak and experience the awesome fish feeding frenzy, this is definitely the highlight of the tour!

Starting a new adventure, experience our 4WD as we travel the rugged tracks of Moreton Island to “The Desert”, this is where we feel the exhilaration of sand tobogganing at speeds of up to 70km/h! Plenty of time to do it all over again! Finally, experience the sense of freedom while enjoying the beautiful view of the sand dunes. We head back to our backpacker accommodation, have dinner and prepare to head out again during nightfall to experience the first ever night kayaking experience on the transparent kayak (Optional activity at Extra Charge). Watch the coral and marine animals come alive, see colorful fish and coral as our kayaks light up at night with underwater lights. For many, this is a life changing experience!

On the second day after breakfast, we head out on the 4WD Bus and travel along the magnificent Eastern Surf Beach. Enjoy a swim in the naturally bubbling Champagne Pools (conditions permitting), stop and visit the beautifully romantic ‘Honeymoon Bay’ and ‘North Point’. Arriving on Cape Moreton Lighthouse and Museum, we will try to spot Turtles, Dolphins, Sharks, Manta Rays and Whales (during Whale Season). This spectacular views of Moreton Island and the Eastern Beach is also visible from the headland. We head back on the rugged tracks and arrive at the breathtakingly beautiful ‘Blue Lagoon’ fresh water lake. Enjoy a cool and refreshing swim. We then head back to the beach and if time permits, indulge in a final dip in the ocean waters at Tangalooma Beach We then cruise back to Brisbane on MiCat Ferry as the sun sets in our sight!

In the event of strong wind, weather & tidal conditions, our tour guide will still take you on a 4WD adventure to explore Moreton Island and her attractions.

    Be ready to go by the departure times, but allow time for your bus to arrive. Unpredictable traffic conditions heading out of Brisbane can slow us down.

    Parents are advised that if travelling with minors aged 16 years and under, you will be required to upgrade your accommodation to a private room, as children are not allowed in the shared backpacker accommodation.
    Children are only taken under the supervision of parents. Children are classed as 13yrs and below to be eligible for child price.

  • Additional Information:

    A local payment fee of $70 per adult / $55 per child (13 years & below) to cover National Park and Ferry Fees is payable on departure to driver in cash.

    Luggage is restricted to a small overnight bag size (30 x 50 x 40cm).
